"Copyright 1905 by the Rotograph Co. / 4508 The Historical Mounds, Idlewilde Park, Newark, O. / Handcolored" including a group of resting children for scale, post card with undivided back, name written on back, good edges. The mounds were engineered by Indians of the Hopewell culture, 160 BC - 310 AD (by carbon dating). In 1905 the mounds shown were being used as part of an amusement park operated by R. C. Lingafelter.
